no, really...sit

3'x3', acrylic on canvas. this one was a bit of a stretch for me. i know it might just look like another chair, but it was a challenge for me to create. i'm trying to get better about not over-working my paintings. i painted this one all in one sitting and used a lot of loose brushwork. i also worked in soft whites and pastels...a color palette i'm not used to working with. looking at it now in the photo, there are a couple of perspective issues i might want to work on...but, maybe i shouldn't let myself....maybe...

oooooooooooo! even better, as far as i'm concerned! i reaaaaally love it, d. really. thought if i'd just read the description of "pastels", i would think i wouldn't love it, but i DO! love the whites... just love it. i'd love it painted really large & on my den wall!!! i feel like this is part of the gold @ the end of your looong journey - you know?
